So, where is Jesus buried?

So, where is Jesus buried?

Our only source of information is the Bible in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. They say that Joseph of Aramathea, a wealthy friend, gave a freshly cut tomb to the disciples. And many believe that that tomb still exists. The traditional view is that the tomb of Jesus is inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. The Church is one of the oldest shrines to Jesus; pilgrims visit it every day. And they come from all over the world. We don't know for certain whose tomb it was.

The Church was built in the 4th century, 300 hundred years after Jesus died. But the fact that the shrine was built at all is telling. The Church was built on the orders of the emperor Constantine after the discovery of a tomb cut out of rock . It lay under the ruins of a place of worship dating back to 135 A.D. Although the shrine doesn't provide conclusive proof of the place of burial, it does show that as early as 135 A.D. pilgrims came to this place because they believed it was the tomb of Jesus. And pilgrims have been coming here ever since.

But even if this is the tomb of Jesus, can we establish what happened next?

Was there a miracle, here, as the disciples claimed?
